Ronald Reagan's Science Fair is on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. 
This year's fair will be all-virtual.

Information and helpful links:

  • How to submit your project:  After registering, you will receive an email with detailed instructions for submitting your project.  You will need to create a PowerPoint presentation (limit 10 slides) and a video of your powerpoint being narrated (limit 7 minutes).  This video will be submitted by uploading it to Flipgrid. 
  • Registration form:  Click here to register for science fair. Please register as early as possible to assist the coordinator in planning this event.  If changes are made to the project, updates can be sent to Mrs. Heilen via email  Registration deadline is Friday February 5 at 3:00 pm.
  • Informational meeting:  The science department hosted a Science Fair Interest Meeting for students and parents on Monday November 23 at 5:30 pm.  Click here for the narrated powerpointthat was presented.

  • Teams may consist of a maximum of 3 students.
  • Students are prohibited from cultivating microorganisms at home. 
  • Microorganisms must be cultivated at school.  Students may access science labs at school with teacher supervision and prior written permission from Mr. Beemer, principal and Mrs. Heilen, science fair coordinator.
  • Vertebrate animals may not be subjected to stress, pain, or death. Prior approval from your teacher is required.
  • Human subjects must give informed consent in some situations.
  • Potentially hazardous chemicals, activities and devices must be approved before experimentation.
  • Protocol forms must be submitted and approved before experimentation.
