The virtual art assignment for this week is now available.  This week we are continuing with observation drawing and creating a self-portrait.
This week's virtual art assignment is now available in the Virtual Learning Folder.  Now's the time to make that 2-point perspective drawing come to life! Watch the 2 instructional videos on shading, then shade your drawing using either colored pencils or a #2 pencil.

If you still need to hand in work from quarter 3, please follow this link to find directions on how to make up those assignments. Make sure you look in the folder for your grade level. You have until 4/24/20 to bring up your grade.
This week's art review lesson is in the 4/21/20 Virtual Learning Folder and serves as a review for both 7th and 8th grade art students.

Please check out the virtual learning folder with optional art learning activities! You have drawing prompts, extra help for drawing with linear perspective, and videos to enrich your art knowledge!

All grades have been updated with work that was handed in on or before March 13. All work completion is optional, but you may still hand in work for a grade.
UNFINISHED CLAY PROJECTS: When I am able to get back in the building for an extended period of time, I will fire everyone's clay project.  Please fill out this form so your name can be added to the list.
If you are an 8th grade student who still needs to hand in your stippled shading project and 3-point perspective project, please check out the 8th Grade Folder for directions on how to finish those projects at home. Finishing these projects is optional, but you may still hand these projects in for a grade.
If you are a 7th grade student who still needs to hand in your observation drawing project, please check out the observation drawing project folder for directions on how to complete the project at home. Finishing this project at home is optional, but you may still hand it in for a grade. I am not grading the 2-point perspective project since I don't have access to the school building.

During the COVID-19 shutdown I'll be available to answer your questions regarding virtual learning for our 7th and 8th grade art classes. I'll check my email periodically throughout the day, and I'll respond to your message within 24 hours. Please note that all art learning activities are for review and enrichment, and are completely optional.

Parents, please make sure that your email is up to date in Parent Vue.

All student work due dates have been extended to at least April 14.  Grades in Student Vue reflect all work that that was handed in on or before Friday, March 13. If you have unfinished projects at school, rest assured that you can hand them in when we return. Please email me with any questions you may have.
